My 28+ year successful work history with the FCSU provides an excellent background to serve as your National President. The Executive Secretary is responsible for all day-to-day operations of the Society as well as serving as Chief Accounting and Corresponding Officer for the FCSU. Duties encompasses all personnel and property management; all financial reporting and compliance at the federal, state, and levels; and processing and certifying membership requirements.

Accomplishment Highlights

 

Throughout my leadership, I have been instrumental in:

  • Delivering sustained, record-setting increases in FCSU finances, including a 16% increase in assets & 6.6% increase in surplus, 2021

  • Focusing on effective product sales and promotions to increase premium and annuity income which increased 99.2% in 2021

  • Expanding network of independent insurance agents to more than 450 as more states look for fraternal sales through these channels

  • Instituting reimbursement program for those FCSU recommenders who wish to obtain their licenses

  • Ensuring that the FCSU is licensed in and in compliance with all regulations in 27 states

  • Consistently receiving excellent reviews from state audits

  • Launching a new website in 2017 and FCSU digital newsletter

  • Continually updating the website including the addition of agent and member information portals

  • Controlling operating expenses through procedural enhancements like automatic premium payments, annuity check deposits, and loan or premium payments via credit card
